Power Probe PP3PF with PowerFlow Technology

Circuit Testers

Introduction

The Power Probe 3 with PowerFlow™ Technology is built for technicians who need faster, more confident electrical diagnostics on 12V and 24V vehicle systems. It combines the trusted functionality of the Power Probe 3 with advanced circuit-loading capability, allowing technicians to measure voltage, apply battery power or ground, check resistance, activate components, and verify circuit integrity under real-world load conditions. With PowerFlow™, hidden faults such as high resistance, corrosion, weak grounds, and excessive voltage drop can be exposed quickly — helping reduce guesswork, avoid unnecessary parts replacement, and speed up every diagnostic job.

Features

PowerFlow™ Circuit Loading Technology

Actively load positive or negative circuits to test wiring under real operating conditions. PowerFlow™ helps reveal voltage drop, high resistance, weak grounds, corrosion, damaged wiring, and poor connections that may not appear during standard no-load voltage testing.

Apply Battery Power or Ground

Quickly supply 12V or 24V battery power or ground directly to components for fast functional testing. Ideal for checking motors, lights, relays and other electrical components.

Resistance Measurement up to 25 kΩ

Measure resistance to help verify component specifications, identify poor connections, and locate high-resistance faults caused by corrosion, damaged wiring, or component degradation.

10A Solid-State Circuit Breaker

The integrated 10-amp solid-state circuit breaker provides protection while supporting higher-load component testing. It allows technicians to power demanding loads with added confidence and automatic reset protection.

Built-In Electronic Latch Function

Apply continuous power or ground without holding the actuator switch. This is especially useful for extended component activation, dynamic troubleshooting, and hands-free testing.

Quick-Connect Ground Lead

The ground connection uses a 4mm banana jack for improved flexibility and reliability. It allows the use of extensions, adapters, and test leads while maintaining a secure ground connection.
